I had 2 hours to waste and it was pouring rain. There was a book I had been wanting to read so I went into the Bookworm. As luck would have it there were a few copies available, I chose one and was ready to go sit in a parking lot and read my book. Upon hearing this, the owner Don allowed me to sit comfortably listening to his music while we both read. I must admit it was the best 2 hours I've spent in quote a while! Thank you Don, I'm "inhaling" this book so I'll see you in a couple of days.

Great little local book store. Atmosphere and service are excellent. Stop by if you're in the neighborhood and you won't be disappointed.

Lots of used books. Very helpful staff. Open on Sunday when most of the town seems to close.

Surprisingly great selection of fantasy and sci-fi to peruse for a less populous inland Norcal town. Most of the mass market paperbacks are fairly priced around $3-4. The owner is welcoming, helpful, and pretty based.

My daughter and I use to frequent this adorable book store throughout her childhood, we practically lived there. She is now 20 and we no longer live in Yuba City but we were just talking about how it was the best used book store to this day. They had everything and were clean and most of all the ladies who ran it were the nicest! My daughter said she has been to a ton and this is still her favorite. We googled it to see if it was still open and were so happy to see it was. Next trip home we will definitely pop in.

This place is awesome, super friendly great selection of books. I go here for all my hard cover Stephen kings and fantasy books. The owner Ron I believe is his name was very polite to my boys I give it an 11/10

Walked in to Ron listening to 80's vibes and reading a mystery novel; it was like walking back in time. Incredible book smell in the tight stacks, and he pointed me to my preferred author even through the shelves because he knows his books so well. I asked about my "white whale" and while he didn't have the specific book, he had a lot of Moby Dick quotes on hand, which I appreciate so much. They don't make shops like this anymore. Visit before it's gone, I beg you, because it's never coming back. Such a gem to discover.

It is always such a fun experience to go into an actual bookstore, let alone one that has been around for years!!! If you want that feeling of being surrounded by actual books in a small bookshop, I highly recommend visiting the Bookworm! This store is such a historical downtown gem!
